Our facilities are powered by solar energy. We kindly ask you to avoid bringing high-energy-consuming appliances for example hairdryers, coffee makers, etc. Enjoy the simplicity and tranquility of your vacation.

All chalets have a fridge with a 72 ltr bottom freezer compartment.

The roads consist of hard compact gravel and certain areas soft sand. 4x4 is not required to reach us.

Don’t forget to safeguard your skin and bring along your sunblock. The water from our borehole at the lodge is safe for consumption.

There’s no need for concern about malaria, as Kosi Bay is in an area of South Africa with minimal to no risk of infection. Do bring repellant as we sometimes have lots of mosquitos.

While our local community can occasionally become a bit boisterous when under the influence, they pose no threat to others.
